Fitnet app review: converts your iPad camera into a biometric sensor for real-time feedback while you exercise

Reviews

Introduction

What we have here is a very clever little app that you can use to transform your iPad camera into a biometric sensor that will provide you with real-time feedback while you exercise, while providing fresh new workouts on a regular basis.

The best crossfit apps for iPad

I think that this is a great idea for an app as it ensures that you are keeping up with the trainer in the video while also keeping your technique in check. I think the concept as a whole is likely to be improved upon over time but I’m very impressed with what I’ve seen so far.

If you’re looking to get into shape in a fun and rather novel way, then I would definitely recommend checking out this app as I think you’ll find it to be very interesting and engaging.

Receive Real-Time Biometric Feedback

Fitnet - Video Fitness Trainer has been designed to use your iPad camera in order to provide biometric feedback in real time by comparing your movements with those of the trainer on your device’s screen. This helps to ensure that you’re keeping up with the workout so that you can get the most out of it.

The app also comes complete with a selection of quick-fire five-minute workouts that you can perform on the fly.

If you’re just starting out on your fitness journey then you can simply stick with one workout at a time, but on the other hand, if you’re more experienced then you can very easily move from workout to workout and have a longer session.

Enjoy a Wide Range of Exercise Styles

One thing I really like about this app is that it offers a fairly wide range of exercise styles to keep things fresh and interesting, and there are always new ones being added by the developer to ensure that you don’t get bored of doing the same old routines over and over again.

The premium content in this app works on the basis of a monthly subscription, so you will need to part with a couple of dollars to access it, but I would recommend downloading the free app initially to see what you think of what’s on offer.
