What we have here is a very nicely designed alarm clock and weather forecasting app that you can use to transform your iPhone and iPad into a highly effective dashboard for time and weather information for your local area.

This is definitely a very well-developed app with a gorgeous visual design, and I especially like the way in which the weather information is presented.

Weather apps in general can be a little flamboyant and convoluted with their visual layouts but having a minimalist design such as this really seems to compliment the overall functionality very nicely. This app definitely receives my recommendation.

Red Clock (Weather & Alarm) features a full screen, large display digital clock that you can very easily read at a glance, and there are a variety of visual themes to choose from, based largely on different color schemes.

This clock can also be used to set up an alarm clock with all of the usual features you’d expect from a tool of this kind, such as snooze and repeating the alarm of certain days of the week.

Red Clock also features a very cool Night Mode which can be used to spare your retinas when nighttime comes. This can be toggled on and off by using the lamp switch, or alternatively it will activate automatically based on your device’s current brightness settings.

Synchronize With Your Local Area

The weather forecasting aspects of this app are pretty standard affair from what I know of this genre, with your device synchronizing with your local area by using the integrated GPS.

There are more than 30 weather icons that are included, displaying things like temperature, Feels Like temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, and UV Index. Weather information gets updated every half hour or so, so you’ll always have the most recent information at your fingertips.

Red Clock (Weather & Alarm) is a very simple iPhone and iPad app with a very simple design, and I really like the way the minimalist design works in line with the features.

I’ve used a few different alarm clock and “night stand” apps over the past few months, and this is definitely one of my favorites because of the way everything is packaged, so I would very much recommend that you guys check it out if you’re in the market for this kind of utility.
