Medical Terms, Terminology, Prefix & Suffix app review: access a vast offline database of medical knowledge

Reviews

Introduction

Big things really do come in small packages, and this iPhone and iPad resource is a great example of just what a wealth of medical information can be compiled into a relatively small app, suitable for doctors and medical professionals around the world.

The best counselling apps for the iPhone

This is a very simple app with a very simple layout and interface, and although I don’t have the slightest inkling of an idea of a clue as to what most of the content means, it definitely appears to be a very powerful resource for those of you in the medical profession.

At a dollar, this app is an absolute steal, and I think many of you will find it to be a truly invaluable resource to have at hand.

Access a Vast Medical Resource Offline

Medical Terms, Terminology, Prefix & Suffix has been designed to provide medical professionals and students alike with a one-stop resource of medical terms, definitions, prefixes, and suffixes in a neatly indexed database.

The entire database is stored locally on your device, which means that the content is always available offline and you won’t need to connect to the Internet for access.

Having said that, there are occasional additions made to the database as new terms are added, so you will need to be online in order to download these free updates.

Bookmark Terms for Quick Future Reference

You’ll be pleased to know that you can also add your most frequently used terms to your Bookmarks list for quick and easy future reference, and you can even share terms with your friends and colleagues online via email.

All in all, this is a very high-quality development. The interface is sparse and simple, and this makes for very easy navigation and browsing of the countless entries in the database.

Final Words

Medical Terms, Terminology, Prefix & Suffix is yet another collection of medical information for iPhone and iPad that I am thoroughly impressed by.

As I mentioned in the introduction, most of the content is way over my head, but I know a decent app when I see one, and the developer has certainly done a great job of compiling all of this information into a neat little app which occupies very little storage space on your mobile device.

I’m thoroughly impressed with Medical Terms, Terminology, Prefix & Suffix and it definitely receives a recommendation from me.
