After reviewing countless web browser apps for iPhone and iPad that are essentially carbon copies of one another, I can finally say that I’ve found a mobile browser that really brings something new to the table! This is definitely the best iOS web browser app that I’ve come across so far.
The best iPhone apps for private browsersFinally, an iPhone browser with a little originality! I’m very impressed by the creativity that has gone into this app on the part of the developer as it has definitely yielded some very fruitful results with cool features like form filling, guest mode, and more.

As soon as I started using iCab Mobile (Web Browser) I could tell that it had been put together with just a touch more tender loving care than many of the similar apps I’ve seen in the Utilities category of the App Store.
The best search engine apps for iPhone-2021The interface itself isn’t exactly much to look at, featuring a cold metallic appearance and a general utilitarian feel overall. But you can choose from a variety of different skins or themes to make things a little easier on the eyes.
I really like the idea of being able to fill out forms with this app, but I’ve found this feature to be a little temperamental. It seems to work on a site-by-site basis, but sometimes the data just isn’t being saved. Either way, it’s great to have this feature when it does work.
The mobile browser has a built-in Download Manager so you can download almost all files from the internet. The downloads can be easily transferred from this iPhone browser to a Mac/PC/Linux computer but also to other Apps on the device which can open these files.
Another cool feature of this app is the filtering. This enables you to block certain URLs, and you can also use it to block images entirely, which is very well suited to those of us who are using a fairly limited data plan and don’t want to squander our precious bandwidth.
The best iPad apps for private browsers-2021I’m also quite impressed by the addition of a guest mode. You can password-protect the app but still retain some functionality that is available in guest mode. This isn’t something I’ve seen in many apps, especially web browsers, so I really like that it has been included here.
Pros
Cons
At only $1.99, I would recommend iCab Mobile (Web Browser) over pretty much every other similar development that I’ve seen priced at $0.99 because the extra dollar will definitely go a long way to providing you with an iPhone and iPad app that you’ll stick with for the long haul.
