FL Studio Mobile app review: create and save complete multi-track music projects on your mobile device 2021

Reviews

Introduction

Providing an all-in-one utility for creating and saving music in a powerful multi-track environment is this awesome iPhone and iPad music maker app which includes more than a hundred virtual instruments, drum kits, and loads more to boot.

The best studio recording apps for iPad

This is definitely an impressive music making app for working on multi-track projects, and with all of the synth and MIDI programming available, I’d bet you’ll be able to come up with some pretty gnarly sounds regardless of which genre you’re writing in.

I have found the interface to be a little jerky or sputtery at times with occasional moments of lag, but other than that I’d say the developer has done a spectacular job of providing iPhone and iPad users with a pint-sized recording studio at their fingertips.

A Multi-Track Recording Suite at Your Fingertips

FL Studio Mobile has been designed to provide users with a one-stop resource for recording multi-track music, but I should note that due to the high level of functionality on the interface, this app is probably better suited to the larger screen of the iPad rather than the iPhone.

The developer has recently updated the app and added a MiniSynth feature with 70 cool presets. There are also 133 very nice sounding instruments, drum kits, and beats for you to choose from, with the option of editing everything on a per-note basis thanks to the piano roll editor.

Enjoy Tons of Customization Options

There is a high level of customization available, and for each instrument you add to the mix you can adjust its pan, volume, release, and attack time on an individual basis. This definitely provides a great deal of freedom to produce a big raunchy sound in my opinion.

In addition to this, you’ll also find a host of audio effects, including reverb, delay, limiter, and a range of amp simulations, plus you can also play around with pitch bending by making use of your device’s integrated accelerometer.
