If you need to find the closest stop to your current location you can do so with the nearby screen. It should be noted that you will need an Internet connection to use all the features in this app.

Although there have been issues in the past with the app being able to locate stops nearby I have had no issues with this feature. In fact, I find the app very smooth, quick, and easy to use. I actually had no idea there were that many transit stops near me.

Tap on any option to see more about that bus/train, mark it as a favorite, and see not just the next arrival time but the next few. The real-time location map is also really cool.
