Translator with Speech Pro app review: easily translate into more than 50 worldwide languages

Reviews

Introduction

While there are countless iPhone and iPad translating apps specializing in specific languages, this powerful  app has been designed to act as a comprehensive translation resource for more than 50 languages from around the world so that you can get by no matter in which country you find yourself.

The best iPad apps for translations

One thing that I think is pretty cool about this app is that you can basically use it as a pocket translator wherever you are. I mean an actual translator that you can use to interact with locals in foreign countries.

For example, if you don’t know how to order a certain type of food from a restaurant, you can simply speak it in English into your iPad and then hit the Play button for the waiter to listen to; certainly not the most glamorous way of doing things but effective nonetheless!

Translate 54 Languages From Around the World

Translator with Speech Pro provides translations for a whopping 54 worldwide languages, and there is also full support for voice recognition. This means that all you have to do is say the word or phrase that you’d like translated and the translation will appear on the screen as if by magic!

There are also full audio translations but you will need to be connected to the Internet to access these. I was originally going to put this as a negative point in the Pros & Cons section of this review but I don’t think this would be fair considering the vast amount of languages that are covered.

Share Your Translations Online

On the bright side, the app will remember previous translations that you’ve made, so all you need to do is go back to them and hit the play button and you can listen to them in all their glory. You can also add frequently used words and phrases to your Favorites list for quick and easy future reference.

What’s more, you’ll be pleased to know that you can even share your translations with your friends and family online via Facebook, Twitter, and email. This is a great way of hinting about your upcoming vacations!
