Kazzy by Squareheart app review: a simple organizer for your next twelve hours

Reviews

Introduction

One of the things in life people struggle with the most is trying to organize their time. Time is fleeting and you never seem to have enough of it to do everything you want to do. Luckily there are tons of different organizing apps in the App Store. The calendar app on your device should be sufficient, but is sometimes quite a chore to use.

The best iPhone apps for task management

Luckily for the people who don’t have much time to organize their life properly (like myself) there is now Kazzy by Squareheart, developed by Andrew Turkin. This app allows you to quickly make a short to do list for the next 12 hours and will help you get through the busiest days of all. The app is available for free and is created for iPhone, but works perfectly fine for iPad as well.

How does the app work?

The app is really easy to use and works surprisingly quickly. Simply swipe over the clock and you will be able to set a space of time in which you will have to do a task. All these tasks can be color-coded and named exactly as you want. If you pull up the screen, you can see a history of what tasks you have completed previously. The biggest downfall of the app is that you can only plan ahead for 12 hours, which basically means you can only plan for the upcoming day.

Pay to personalize your experience

The app has tons of different skins available but you will need to pay to gain access to these options. All these in-app purchases are simple skins and are quite pricey, but if you like this app and use it a lot, it might be nice to buy one or two, just to support the developer so he can improve your experience. Themes will set you back between $0.99 and $2.99. Regrettably there are no ways to copy a planning to the next day, nor is it possible to make templates for your regular days. The app sports a parallax effect, but I have no idea how this works, or what it adds.

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Easy to use
  • Great design and nice to look at

Cons

  • Only plan ahead for 12 hours
  • No templates or copying of tasks to the next day

Conclusion

Kazzy by Squareheart is a very nice looking organizing app. There are a few things they will have to change to make this app a must have for any disorganized person like me, but if you like planning only 12 hours ahead, this app might be perfect for you. The app is easy to use and allows you to rename tasks to personalize your experience. New themes will set you back a few bucks, but all look well-designed and are a feast for the eye. The app is developed for iPhone, but works fine on iPad.
