House Design app review: easily build the house you've always wanted 2021

Reviews

Introduction

What we have here is an interior design app for your iPhone and iPad that you can use to design a 2D floor plan of your dream home, complete with more than 300 different items and materials to choose from, and a host of other useful features to help you easily build the house you’ve always wanted.

The best design and graphics apps for the iPhone-2021

I think that this is a very nice idea for an iPhone app for home design, and it seems to be especially suited to beginners who have no knowledge or experience in the areas of interior design or architecture.

That does of course mean that the functionality is a little sparse compared to more advanced home design apps, but I’m still happy with the results overall.

Check out our House Design app review for more details about the features and functions of this good iPhone app for interior design.

If I Had a Hammer...

House Design has been designed to make it easier than ever for complete beginners to design a detailed 2D floor plan of their dream home, which is perfect for drafting out ideas if you’re in the process of having your own house built.

The best iPad apps for architects-2021

You won’t have limitless freedom of creativity with this app, but if you’ve never used a tool of this kind then it would definitely be a very suitable place to start as there is a relatively modest selection of 300 or so items and materials to place around your house layout.

The House That App Built

I think that the developer has done very well to produce a tool that is neither too complex that newbies such as myself can’t use it, nor too sparse that it serves no purpose except as a carrier for in-app purchases.

The best iPad apps for home decoration

Instead, we have a fairly well balanced app that features some cool perks like automatic calculation of room sizes, intelligent room recognition, and other handy tidbits to help you put down a floor plan, stick some items in, and get your imagination firing on all cylinders!
