Insane Tracker app review: track your Insane program workouts with ease

Reviews

Introduction

If you’re in the progress of or are thinking of trying your hand at the 60-day Insane fitness program then you’d be very wise to also use this iPhone and iPad app which is specifically designed to help you track your workouts and stay motivated by recording your progress in a number of ways.

The best workout apps for iPhone and iPad

I should probably start this review by saying that I’m really not a fan of exercise programs like Insane because as someone who has been involved in fitness and bodybuilding for nearly a decade it really seems to be intense for intensity’s sake, rather than taking a more intelligent approach.

Having said that, I’m here to write about this app rather than critique a fitness program, so let’s take a closer look at Insane Tracker to see just how well it will serve you.

Share Your Completed Insane Workouts Online

Insane Tracker is a fairly simple app which has been put together for the sole purpose of helping you record your workouts and see what is coming up next as you progress through the 60-day Insanity program.

As you complete each workout you can check it off with the date it was completed, and you can also share all of these little victories with your friends and family online via Facebook and Twitter. This is a great way of trying to motivate others by sharing your fitness lifestyle online.

Record Your Progress Shots and Measurements

There is also a neat little section where you can take progress photos and view them in a cover flow format to keep yourself motivated. You’d be amazed by how much this can help to keep you on track because side-by-side shots can be very telling.

What’s more, you can record basic measurements such as your weight and waist circumference, which again is a great way of encouraging yourself.

Final Words

Insane isn’t a program I’d be likely to do any time soon, but Insane Tracker is definitely worth downloading onto your iPhone and iPad if you are brave enough to give it a shot.

Good luck, and enjoy the app!
