Introduction
If you're on the search for a news app that brings you the latest headlines in quantum theory, string theory, astronomy, and the Large Hadron Collider, ePhysics Science News is a fantastic app that's worth checking out.
Available for purchase in the app store for just 99 cents, this app is a centralized physics and science news app designed especially for your iPhone or iPad, collecting news stories from various sources including Physics World, Science Daily News, and more.
Let's take a look at the features of this app.

News Sources & Presentation
ePhysics Science News is one of the smallest apps I've ever seen, taking up as little as 0.2 MB of space on your iPhone or iPad. The home page that shows up upon launching the app is a little strange in that rather than listing out the various categories and focusing on the content, the app instead displays the various news sources from which it assimilates the news items.
The sources are all familiar and trusted, including Physics World, Science Daily News, New Scientist, Cern Courier, Phys.org, and more. Fortunately, this app contains a built-in browser, which allows users to read articles without having to open up Safari or another browser. Articles are presented in a neat and organized format, fitting perfectly the iOS device screen specifications.
Articles are loaded through RSS Feeds provided by the website, ensuring that you get the latest news as and when it is published.

Room For Improvement
This is the first version of ePhysics Science News, and it could definitely make a few improvements to enhance the user experience.
Having reviewed dozens upon dozens of news apps, there are a few basic features that I'd like to see in future versions of this app. This includes the ability to save articles for easy viewing later on, social media integration to share articles with friends and family, and InstaPaper or DropBox support.
The way the headlines are laid out is undesirable as they are truncated and it's therefore more difficult for the user to determine the content of the article.
I feel that having all the articles segregated by tags, keywords, or categories is also a great idea rather than having them sorted by source.

Final Words
ePhysics Science News is an iPhone and iPad app in its infancy and requires a lot of refining before it becomes an app that I could or would recommend to readers.
