SBK 2014 Official Mobile Game app review: one of the best motorcycle racing games in the App Store
Introduction
In the case of SBK 2014 Official Mobile Game, the licensor has made a great choice by getting the game developed by developer Digital Tales. Not only is the game compatible with both iPad and iPhone, the game plays great, looks fantastic, is on par with any console game you can find and is only just under 500 MB.

Gameplay
The gameplay is really well done, even though I am not a huge fan of any game that uses the gyroscope to control the game. The good thing about using the gyroscope in this game is that you really get a feeling of hanging in the corners. Be careful, as I made the mistake in the beginning, where I thought the game didn’t need me to throttle, but when I started to go really slow (there is a setting that allows you to have the game auto brake for corners), I knew I wasn’t doing it right. The game introduces the racing really well and there is definitely a good learning curve in the game.

Graphics and Sound
This is where the game truly shines. The graphics of the game look like they have been taken from a last generation console game, something I haven’t seen for a long while in the App Store. In combination with the sound, this game, which is free to play as well, gives you a really good SBK experience and outdoes most other racing games in the App Store. The developer really deserves a lot of credit here as I am blown away by the amount of detail and the great sound implementation.

Conclusion
As far as racing games go, and to be honest I am not a fan, this game must be the cream of the crop on the App Store. The fact it’s free as well makes this a game you can’t miss, especially if you’re into SBK or racing games in general. The graphics are stunning, the sound is well-implemented, and the gameplay is adjustable to get the experience you want to have. The app is compatible with both iPad and iPhone and is just under 500 MB, which is huge, but completely worth it for any fan of the genre.
