Soccer Wallpapers app review : A small collection of great wallpapers for your device
Introduction
A lot of people these days are really trying to stand out by customizing anything they can. This could be their hair, their clothes, or other things about their physical appearance, but it could also be the stuff they use on a daily bases. How many different colors and themes are there for your phones, for software you use and for chat programs you use? Loads. The one thing that the iPad and iPhone are really missing is an app that allows you to find backgrounds as easy as they are obtainable for a windows desktop computer. Developer Razi Haleem has found the solution for soccer fans. Soccer Wallpapers is an app that allows you to set a wallpaper on your device as well as a screen saver for the lock screen. The app is compatible with both iPad and iPhone and weighs in at just under 20 MB.

What it Offers
This could be a really short and easy paragraph to write, but regrettably I am stuck to my word limit and have to hit a specific amount of words. The app has about 16 different themes available, and all of these are based on soccer. All the images are in extremely high-quality and are compatible with Retina screens, and all of them are completely free. The themes come with two different images: one for the lock screen and one for your background screen. Not all of them are as well-centered around the options on said screens, but they all look fantastic. The app also features a preview mode that you can use to see what your device will look like before actually setting it up.

What it Misses
The app really misses a beat by not playing into the World Cup. The app doesn’t offer any specific players or teams, making it almost useless for me. It’s nice to have a player doing a bicycle kick on my screen as a background, but it would be even better if that would be a player from my national team so I can show them the support they deserved during the World Cup. There are some functions in the app that seem to have no function either.

Conclusion
All in all, this app is perfect for any soccer lover. Even though it doesn’t have any national teams or local teams, the app still offers beautiful high definition images that are compatible with Retina devices. The app allows you to preview the images as well as set an image for both your home screen and your lock screen. The app is designed for both iPad and iPhone and it is just under the 20 MB mark.
