Introduction

If you're the kind of person who tends to use plenty of emoticons, or Emojis, on your iPhone or iPad, then SWAK! is an app that you might consider downloading.

This app enables users to incorporate all the cool Emojis from their pre-installed Emoji keyboard in various new ways. It comes packed with pre-sets, ideas, and instructions to help users springboard gracefully into using this app on a regular basis for all their communication needs.

Interface & Instructions

SWAK! only occupies 8.4 MB of space on your iOS device. The main interface might appear confusing to a first-time user, as it was for me, but there was a prominent question-mark icon placed on the top right corner, which I tapped right away. This is full of instructions on how to go about using this app, and they are written out in a simple, step-by-step way, which make them very easy to follow, no matter how technologically savvy they are (or aren't)!

When you open up the app, you'll find the default English keyboard along with a text box and six icons lined up above it. The space above these icons is blank when you begin. When you type in your desired message, it will appear as plain text. The icons above, however, will help you add Emojis in a fun way.

Make Magnificent Messages

After you have decided on the text for your SWAK! message, you can either choose your it to appear in capital letters, or with leading caps.

When you incorporate Emojis, they will appear after each letter of your message. You can either choose one of the many presets available in the app, or use a single Emoji. Finally, you can tap on the check mark to the right of the text box to finish your message.

Remember the previously mentioned space above the text box and icon lineup that was blank upon launching this app? Your finished messages will appear in this area. From where, you can easily share your message on social media networks such as Facebook or Twitter, email it to your loved ones, or even copy it to your clipboard for use in communication apps such as WhatsApp or Viber.

Your SWAK! messages will remain within this app until you swipe left to delete them, or clear all using the recycle button on the top left corner.

If you're looking for a utility that allows you to insert Emojis between the letters of any message, or simply gives a fresh spin to regular Emoji usage, SWAK! is an app that's worth considering. I personally don't feel like I'll be using this app a lot because I'm not an avid user of Emojis, but since it only takes up a small amount of space on the iPhone or iPad, I'll keep it in case I need to inject Emojis into my messages some day!
