ProCyclingStats app review 2021
Introduction
There is one particular way that ProCyclingStats stands out compared to all other cycling apps I have reviewed in the last few months. This cyclists app for iPhone (though it works perfect on iPad as well) is developed by a company that uses the same name as the app itself.
The best boxing apps for iPad
The way this iPhone cyclists app stands out is that it covers every single road cycling event in the world, and not just the big ones. Even the smaller tours that happen in countries where cycling is really popular are here and all the stats you would like to see. The app is always up-to-date and only weighs 10 MB. The app is available for free.
This is one of the best cyclists apps for iPhone and iPad that I've ever come across. Keep reading our ProCyclingStats app review to find out why I feel this way.
What it Offers
As mentioned in the introduction paragraph, this app will be the most comprehensive app that you will find. Most other sports already have an app like this, which is not aligned to any official organ, but the cycling sport didn’t have an app like this yet.
The best iPhone apps for cycling
I am a bit worried that due to the onslaught of Tour de France apps on the App Store this app will be completely overlooked and I hope that cycling fans all around the world will take a good look at the app as it holds every single stat that you would like if you are in to cycling as much as me, and probably more!
Detailed Features
As you would expect from this app, it holds a fully detailed calendar showing all the events. You can simply tap on an event and you will get all the details about said event. But there is even more! You can get all the information by stage, if it contains a multi-stage event, as well as all the times and time differences for each rider.
Best iphone and ipad apps
All these stats are also backdated in the app and you can find a lot of historic information about the bigger events in the sport. I hope in the future the developer will actually add more historic information into the app, as this app has the possibility to become the most comprehensive cycling database out there.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- So much information about road cycling
- Historic information readily available
- Easy-to-use and well-designed
Cons
- I have nothing negative to say about this app
Conclusion
I can be very short about the conclusion, and I will try not to stretch it out too much, but this app is a must-have for any cycling fan. There is so much to do in the app and there are so many different races to look at that you will never be bored when you are trying to keep on top of a race. The app is developed for both iPad and iPhone and weighs in at just about 10 MB.
