Mega Hit It Rich! app review

Introduction

As you might know, I don’t often review these slot machine apps, unless I really can’t find any other good app to review. Most of these apps are the same, which also seems to be the case with Mega Hit It Rich!, an app designed for both iPhone and iPad. The reason why I picked the app is because the premise of the app is pretty good. The app, however, has a lot of downsides, which I will discuss in the paragraphs following. The app holds four tables, includes bonus mini-games, allows you to connect with your social networks, and most importantly of all, is completely free. You will need to unlock the other tables first by spending a certain amount of coins. The app weighs in at just under 30 MB.

Gameplay

The gameplay of this app is simple, you bet a certain amount per line, and then you select the amount of lines you want to bet. The wheels start spinning and you will found out if you won or not. But before you can actually see the result, there is an ad. Sometimes it is an ad you can simply click away but in other cases it’s a video ad. (And not just that! It’s a video ad of another slot machine that looks a lot better than this one!). You have to finish this video ad every other time and it takes about 20 seconds. This gets pretty old pretty quickly, so I was pretty happy when I gambled away all my cash.

Graphics and Sound

The graphics of this game (which is, weirdly enough, categorized under the Reference category in the App Store), are severely under par compared to all the other slot machine games out there. There is also no way that the sound of this game is better than anything else out there. I believe that this might be the worst slot machine app out there (at least out of all the ones I played) as you can’t even add extra coins to your balance, except if you share the app via Facebook. I didn’t want to so I was unable to play any further.

Conclusion

If you would listen to my verdict, you would definitely not download this app and look further for a better slot machine app. There are plenty of great ones out there and every single thing they offer is better. The ads is what really made me go tough on this app as after ever spin you get treated to an ad that you will have already seen 20 times by the time you run out of coins. The app is developed for both iPad and iPhone and is just under 30 MB.
