Gameplay

The gameplay is very easy to understand but holds a lot of depth compared to what meets the eye. You control your character, which there are many of to choose from and attack with an attack button. Your goal is to capture different shrines on the play field and by doing so, claim the battlefield to yourself. The game works in a three vs three format and you will have to exploit the powers of your teammates to win. Each character is, as mentioned before, different, and each of has its different strengths, weaknesses, powers, and spells. By playing a lot your characters will level-up and unlock new powers and spells, as well as getting stronger in battle. There are some in-app purchases, but none of them are needed to be bought in order to play the game to its full extent.

Graphics and Sound

You can see that the developer really has poured heart and soul into this game. As great as the gameplay is, the same amount of polish has been poured into the graphics and every character and effect looks stunning. On top of that, the sound is also absolutely spot on, and although this does impact the size of the game, it’s absolutely worth it. The game does need a substantial amount of space to be played on top of the initial download of 295 MB, and this will be downloaded when you first boot up the app.

If you are into online action games, there is absolutely no reason to not download this game and give it a spin. I wish that these games came with an offline single-player mode as I would be playing this all the time. The graphics, sound, and gameplay look like a labor of love and I can’t believe how great this game turned out. The game is quite large, so expect a big download, but it’s all worth it. The game is only compatible with iPad.
