ShadowPain app review: high-paced adventure action

Introduction

If you want a games app that is fast-paced, filled with action, and combines all kinds of elements into one fun package then this is the app for you. The ShadowPain app for your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone blends together fantasy, adventure, and action. This game will push you to your limits when it comes to courage, accuracy, challenge, and more. Be prepared to pretty much be addicted, making it very hard to put down. There are plenty of levels to work your way through and just remember: it's killed or be killed.

Non-Stop Action

The ShadowPain app provides the users with non-stop action and challenge thanks to the many levels. You'll be testing your luck against all kinds of vicious enemies as there is danger around every corner as you search for the "big treasure." The app features incredible sound effects, fabulous graphics, and smooth and easy-to-follow gameplay. The game begins and you have just a sword and an old cape and the action starts from there as you walk right into the forest of mazes. Be sure to keep a watch on your vital stats such as power, dexterity, health, and strength.

This is a brand-new release but that hasn't stopped this adventure app from getting 4.5 out of five stars from users. Customer comments are very positive with mention of the retro style gameplay, great graphics and sound effects, and non-stop challenge. The only negative is that a few customers have commented on possible bugs in the game. Because this is a brand-new release it’s to be expected that there are a few kinks to work out.

Additional features of the game include the ability to add new items to help your gameplay such as swords and armor, gameplay controls that are smooth and intuitive, the ability to increase your skills as a warrior, and constant updates to improve gameplay. ShadowPain also supports Game Center. I love even the suspense in this game where you don’t know what’s waiting for you around the next corner but whatever it is, that monster doesn’t wish you well. You'll be fighting to become the ruler of the land instead of being chewed up and spit out, so to speak.

I find that with this game, although it is simple enough, you will also be working to figure things out as you go, which is part of the challenge and intrigue. Sometimes the touch functionality tools act as a negative in a game but with this one it just makes the experience that much smoother and easier.
