Introduction

What did your house plants ever do to you in order to deserve their mistreatment? With all jokes aside, if you're tired of your house plants dying then you need The Plant Doctor app for your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone. Sometimes you know what you've done to harm your plants whereas other times, despite your best efforts there seems to be no saving them. This app will help you figure out what you're doing wrong and right so you can start to reap the awards and enjoy healthy indoor greenery.

Enjoy Your House Plants

Most people enjoy having house plants around as they add warmth, character, beauty, and a sense of the outdoors in your indoor space. Nothing is more pleasing in the dead of winter with the snow falling outside than looking around and seeing beautiful greenery thriving in your home. With that said it’s not always easy to keep your plants happy and growing. If you find you are constantly having to replace your plants then The Plant Doctor can help you make some permanent changes. The app combines 15 years’ worth of growing and training tips and information that you can easily navigate.

With the most recent update there were a number of small enhancements made to the user interface just to give customers a better experience. The app requires iOS 7.0 or later to use and as of right now it scores just two out of five stars. With a price tag of $2.99 it would be nice to know you're getting an app that is worth it.

Finding Answers to your Questions

The app features 32 of the most common issues that face house plants. You can read up on the symptoms and a "detailed solution" for the problem. I have to say right here I have an issue with the app as I feel it’s very light on content. Solutions that are given will involve things such as less water, more water, needs humidity, needs more sunlight, requires fertilizer, and more. This is a universal app so it will work on all your devices.

Best iphone and ipad apps

I love the idea of The Plant Doctor as it’s very frustrating to throw out plant after plant, but I feel like the idea really hasn’t been followed through on completely. This offering feels more like a first draft that is still in need of improvements, changes, and additional content.

Final Words

The Plant Doctor app for your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone can certainly help you diagnose common issues affecting your house plants but at the same time I feel like the content is quite small and this can’t act as a definitive source.
