Don't be Fooled

It's important you don't go into this app fooled because nothing moves at a typical "granny" pace. The endless racing style game is fast-paced right from the moment you begin. Granny will be running the streets all through Harlem and as mentioned you need to be sure to collect as many gold Granny stars as possible. You can play online with the multi-player option and challenge your friends on Facebook. This adds even more intensity and challenge to the game. For me a big positive in this game is the music; it’s just so high-energy you can’t help but have fun as you play.

The last update was over a year ago when developers addressed some minor bugs. The app scores a solid four out of five stars from users and you'll find comments such as "this is a fun and exciting game," "can't stop playing," "I love this game," and plenty more. It seems the one negative from users is the extreme amount of ads, in specific, the pop-up ads during gameplay.

Run Granny Run

As soon as I launched the game app I was made aware of the user complaint of two many pop-up ads because I had the same issue. It wasn’t just one ad, it was multiple, one after another, making it rather annoying and time-consuming to get to the gameplay. Once you get in the game it’s time to choose your game mode; I find this to be a slow process as the menus are a bit pokey. Even loading the levels is slow so it takes a while to actually start running. Additionally, the app has crashed on me multiple times when I finally get to the point of starting the game.

All in all it's a fun offering with cute graphics, easy to understand gameplay, and simple controls. I do find the ads ruin the experience a bit and the app still feels buggy.
