ZombieBooth takes a photo of a person or even pet and turns it into an animated, 3D, terrifying zombie! This app is amazing. You can turn the animation into a movie and share it with your friends, or save an image and use it as your wall paper. It turns any 2D image you take into a 3D zombie image. You can create an album of you and all of your friends, and watch them scowl, blink, and breathe. They growl and shake their heads...they’ll even try to bite your finger if you get too close! You can tap or shake your iOS device to choose from among more than 50 different zombie variations. There’s something for everyone here! You can record videos of the animations and post them to Twitter, Facebook, and email. This app works on any iOS device with iOS 3.0 or later; there’s a special iPad app, too. There’s even a free version of this app you can try out to see if you like it before you buy the paid version. This app is not suitable for kids under 12 due to the fear themes and frequent horror images. If you want to scare some faint-hearted friends, do up a photo of yourself and pass off your iPhone and ask them to look. You won’t be disappointed, we promise. There’s a FB group where you can go to ask questions or share your zombies. ZombieBooth: 3D Zombifier was updated to version 3.54 on December 17, 2011, to improve data management. It has 920 ratings in total, averaging four out of five stars. This version has 78 ratings averaging four stars as well. Feedback is great. The only problem with this app is that it doesn’t support saving in iOS 6. There is a workaround, though, and the developers plan to add a fix soon. In the meantime, press the power button and the home button while animating and the app will save a snapshot.
