Primitives Puzzle in Time app review
Introduction
There are many puzzle games out there and each one of them has a different gimmick going for it. In case of Primitives Puzzle in Time by Crazy Labs, designed for both iPad and iPhone, it is the fact that there is a time limit to each puzzle, though you can basically pause time at any point to look if you are doing the puzzle right. This makes this game a one-of-a-kind experience and the way this game is presented only establishes that more. The game has a very good difficulty curve and is only just over 50 MB, which isn’t that much for over 90 levels of awesomely challenging gameplay.

Gameplay
There are 90 levels in the game and the gameplay is very well-balanced and offers a great difficulty curve. Your goal is to guide a certain shape through a maze of obstacles within a set limit of time. The time will only count when your cursor is moving, so you will have to plan ahead. Luckily you can always go back to a point on the line, or restart the level, so you will never get stuck. The game starts with only a few of the levels unlocked and you will only unlock the next set of levels when you get three stars for all the puzzles that precede them. This can be hard, as you will have to make the best use of your time to collect the different points and get to the end point before you run out of time.

Graphics and Sound
The graphics of the game are extremely minimalist, but this doesn’t hurt the game at all. As the gameplay of the game is also very basic, the minimalist graphics actually fit in really well with the overall presentation of the game. Take into account the fact that the sound is very minimalist as well, and you have a really nice package of a game that will challenge your senses and will tease your brain for hours. There is a way to unlock more levels if you don’t collect all the stars, but this will cost real money and will make the game a lot less free than it currently is.

Conclusion
I really liked playing Primitives Puzzle in Time. The game really challenged my planning skills and especially in the later levels it really put my skills to the test. The early levels build up the difficulty in a great way and you will be able to unlock the second set of levels without any major problems. Everything about the game is minimal, especially the price as the game is free. The game is designed for both iPad and iPhone and weighs in at just over 50 MB.
