Dr. Frankenstein’s Body Lab Price: $2.99 For: iPad The Dr. Frankenstein’s Body Lab app by Dorling Kindersley gets you to help Dr. Frankenstein himself in completing the monster. You have to work your way through six body systems to build the monster of the doctor’s dreams! As you go through each level, you have to put the falling body parts where they are supposed to go. It’s also an educational app as you can learn about the body by touching empty spaces on the monster’s body. The app will teach you about the parts that are supposed to go on that space. If you can complete five levels in 20 seconds each or less, you get to build the monster. Once you’ve assembled your monster properly, it comes alive! You can take a photo and share it. You can play Falling Body Parts or Build Your Monster. The five levels are the skeleton, brain, heart and lungs, digestive system, and muscles. If you can put 10 correct pieces into the right spots in 20 seconds or less, you finish the level and unlock all the body pieces you will need for the final and sixth level. Once you finish the game, use pieces from the “Bits and Pieces” drawer to make a funny monster. To be honest, this game is really hard. It’s pretty difficult for younger kids to play – practically impossible, and even for some adults. It would be nice if the developers would update this to give players more time to successfully complete a level. For the price, it would be nice if kids could play; maybe the developer could make an easy, moderate, and difficult level so everyone can play. Dr. Frankenstein's Body Lab was released on September 27, 2012, and currently has nine ratings with an average of 3.5 stars out of five.
