Dream Diary app review: recall made easy

Reviews

Introduction

Recording our dreams can afford some very interesting insights into our subconscious mind, so Dream Diary has been designed so that you can comfortably pick up your iPhone or iPad in the middle of the night and quickly jot down your dreams before you forget them.

Although it’s something I’ve never really done on a consistent basis, I really like the idea of recording one’s dreams, especially if you’re depressed or in the midst of some crisis in life; you might be surprised by some of the insights it provides you with.

"I Had a Dream!"

This is a wonderful idea for an app, and one that has been put together with some obvious attention to detail, enabling you to easily record notes of your dreams to remember them for days to come.

Oftentimes you’ll find yourself checking your notes and realizing you wrote something down that you completely forgot by the time morning came.

Easy On the Eyes

I really like the way the developer of Dream Diary has designed the interface to be dimly-colored as this makes it very easy on the eyes when you switch on your iPhone in the middle of the night to jot down your dreams. To further add to the comfort factor, this app provides full support for both portrait and landscape orientations.

You can also share your dream logs with others online or create a backup copy via email, and keep them secure with passcode protection.
