CityGuide: Cancun app review: limited content
Introduction
CityGuide: Cancun follows the worthwhile concept of helping you get the most out of your time in the city of Cancun in Mexico, but unfortunately the limited scope of the content means you might be better looking for a more comprehensive travel guide on your iPhone and iPad.
I really like the idea behind this app, and the presentation overall is actually pretty decent compared to similar apps in the genre, but I would recommend running your own comparison with some other Cancun guides because this one could certainly do with the addition of some extra content.
Learn About Cancun, Mexico
This app has been designed to help you more easily navigate the city of Cancun and easily find something to do every day while also providing you with useful information on locations such as contact details, map directions, descriptions, and loads more.
There is also a fair amount of background information provided in this app so that you can learn a little more about the city’s history for a greater insight into the local culture and its heritage, and if you find anything interesting then be sure to share it with your friends online via email.
Minimal content
Bookmark Your Favorite Spots
CityGuide: Cancun also enables you to add your most frequently accessed entries to your Bookmarks list for quick and easy future reference, so this should come in very handy if you want to make up a plan of your intended destinations while in Cancun prior to actually leaving home.
If the developer could just see fit to add a little extra content into each of the sections, such as more local establishments, then I think this app could definitely become a big time contender in the Travel category of the App Store.
