Crystal Caverns Price: $0.99 For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad with iOS 4.3 or later The Crystal Caverns app by Sarah Pierce is a super-addictive color-matching puzzle game for your iOS device. The goal is to shoot colored marbles at a group of marbles to match colors and eliminate groups until the board is cleared. The game starts off easy but increases in difficulty as you progress. The more you play, the harder it is! This becomes quite the challenge as you move through the levels. There are 150 hand-created puzzles to test your skill. Some people may find it difficult to complete all levels, some of them are so hard! Don’t get frustrated, though: just keep at it! You can play it in Endless Mode if you want more challenge. You have to keep up with the puzzle board or you’ll lose. You can also choose to play in Random Mode where the game presents a randomly generated board in each of the three levels. This means you’ll never run out of puzzles. There are three levels of difficulty. The game tracks your stats so you can check your progress and see if you’ve improved. The graphics are awesome; they marbles look very realistic and the bright, beautiful colors are invigorating. There is background music for the game or you can mute it if that suits your preferences. There is also a colorblind mode you can choose to play if you are so affected. The Crystal Caverns app was updated to Version 1.1 on November 5, 2012. This version allows background music, offers a mute button, and colorblind mode to users. The app does not have enough customer ratings for iTunes to display a rating.
