Today is Bittersweet Chocolate with Almonds Day!
Chocolate Fix by ThinkFun, Inc will help you get your chocolate fix on, while using deductive reasoning in order to complete the challenges.
You’re presented with a Sodoku-like challenge to place nine pieces of chocolate into their correct spots in the box. You get visual clues and have to use logic and reasoning to figure out where they should go. The levels increase in difficulty as you go along, but the learning curve is fairly relaxed. There is a “hint” button in the event you get stuck.
There are over 400 challenges that range from Easy to Expert. Simply pick which level at which you’d like to play and start! You get clues that tell you how each of the nine chocolates should be placed: cues like colors, orientation to the grid, and shape. You have to combine all of the information you’ve been given in order to figure out the proper placement of all of the chocolates. Once you get them positioned correctly, you unlock the solution and move forward to the next challenge.
You get 100 games in each of the four difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert. You can save multiple games in
progress, keep a history of your “perfectly solved” and “solved” challenges, and even choose your own “flavors.”
There is a tutorial and we recommend you watch it so you have a firm grasp on how to play Chocolate Fix.
