Blueprint 3D HD Price: $2.99 For: iPad with iOS 4.3 or later The Blueprint 3D HD app by FDG Entertainment is a puzzle game that will amaze you. USA Today gave this game four out of four stars. This is a 3D motion puzzle game where you can play over 300 levels or make your own 3D puzzles. Every pre-set level start out with a clump of lines and dots. When you look at it closely, though, you’ll realize that there’s a blueprint image in the mix…you just have to uncover it. And did we mention that this process is timed and you’re supposed to do it as fast as possible? Use your finger to drag across the screen. This will rotate the figure. All you have to do is rotate the figure until you can make out the image. Once you hit the “sweet spot” with the figure in just the right position, the secret image will show itself to you. As time goes on, the three stars start to disappear one by one as time goes on. If you get the puzzle solved with all three stars still present, you get a perfect score. As mentioned, you can also take a photo and convert it into a 3D puzzle and then share the puzzle with your friends. The app offers 11 themes, each with its own original music score. Alternatively, you can choose to play any track from your iTunes library. Blueprint 3D HD is integrated with Game Center, so you can post your leading high score and try to beat other people’s scores. Other features include the 3D camera and editor, smooth graphics, and full Retina support.
It’s easy to get caught up in the “just one more” round of this game. Each puzzle lasts about 15 seconds, and since you have so many of them (more than 240), there’s a lot to get through. The app was updated to Version 2.0 on October 18, 2012. The update offers iCloud support and syncing between Blueprint 3D and Blueprint 3D HD. It currently has a total of 2,755 ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars. The current version has 106 ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars.
