Reviews

BallotBox app reviewBallotBox Price: Free For: iPhone, iPod touch, iPad with iOS 4.0 or later BallotBox by Jack Adamson is a UK-based opinion polling app. Basically, you can vote on ballots and see the results based on different demographics. The ballots you vote on are either Trivia-based abstract and fun topics, or Current Affairs ballots that concentrate on current news topics. Once you open the app and select the ballot upon which to vote, you enter your vote. Then you can view results and choose among demographics such as education level, age, domestic status, age, income level, and region. You can post any results with which you’re interested to Twitter or Facebook. You can also email This will invite discussions amongst your friends and can open up exciting new conversations on a daily basis. This is an sespecially great idea for people who like to stay on top of current events and are interested in what their friends have to say. Another cool feature of the app is that you can send developers suggestions regarding ballot ideas. All you have to do is click the “Suggest a Ballot.” The Head to Head section offers you the chance to vote election-style, on topics or rivals who are each fighting for your support. You can then click to see how other people voted, and to track those votes by demographics. Here’s a video to see how the app works. The best part of ballots is that the more people vote, the more accurate the results will be; this is a great reason to ask your friends to vote, too. New ballots are uploaded every day so your chances of having your question/ballot added, the better.
