imo free video calls and chat app review

Reviews

Introduction

With this app, you can make high quality phone calls, message with a group, share photos, and send video clips and pictures. Use the voice IM option to turn your iOS device into a walkie-talkie! You can search your chat histories both on the iPhone or online. You can sign up for push notifications that you will continue to receive up to one week after you close the app, and you can have concurrent sessions on multiple devices. Imo free video calls and chat supports Skype, Facebook Chat, MSN, Yahoo! Messenger, AIM, ICQ, Hyves, Jabber, Steam, and VKontakte.

While it’s true that you can find multiple messaging apps for your iPhone - or Android, for that matter, not all of them are easy to use, have a great user interface, and are free. Imo fulfills all of these requirements and is super-reliable, too. The app makes it easy for you to keep track of which of your accounts are signed in, and doesn’t make you pay for push notifications. It's one of the better video chat apps that I have come across.

More Details

One of the best features is that the app gives pop-up previews when you’re on an iPad. The only possible downfall of this app is that you can’t tell the app when to shut down chat sessions. The imo free video calls and chat app was updated to Version 3.3 on November 13, 2012. The update gave the iPad video chat and messenger app a brand-new UI, group photo sharing, streamlined access to conversations, and the ability to take multiple photos quickly and then share or save to your iOS’ photo gallery. The imo messenger app has 12,923 ratings with an average of 4.5 stars. If you’re looking for a new messenger app, you should definitely give this one a try.
