LetterSlider by Scott Stanchak is an addictive word-based puzzle app.
It was ranked in the Top 50 in the U.S., Great Britain, Australia, India, and Fiji, and in the Top 100 in France.
Your objective is to make words by sliding around lettered tiles. Try to form words with the highest scores possible as you try to make as many words as possible before you run out of time. You get 24 tiles, each with a point value.
It’s Game Center integrated, so you can compare your scores to other people's worldwide. You can also share your scores to Facebook and Twitter and compete with your friends.
You can challenge yourself to spell the most words in a row, to spell the most bonus words, to spell the most words, to score the most points, and to score the most points in a single word.
There’s a free version you can try first, but the paid version doesn’t have ads and allows you to play two- or five-minute games. There’s no delay in between games like in the free version, either. You can look at all of the words you have spelled properly, see your all-time slide numbers, and your game numbers.
LetterSlider was updated to Version 2.1 on November 14, 2012. The update made fixes to the bug that caused crashes. There are currently seven ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars.
If you love word puzzles, then you absolutely need to try LetterSlider!
