This app will be helpful for those with deaf family members, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and customers. ASL Word Immersion covers colors, people, clothes, money, finger spelling, numbers, calendar, classroom, home, supermarket, essentials, city, body, animals, doctor, vehicles, class room, and restaurant words. You will see videos of proper signing, and can use flash cards and quizzes to help you learn. There’s a video phrasebook that shows all the signs, and learners at any stage will find this an amazing app to use. The user interface is simple and easy to use. You can quickly find and watch videos showing the proper sign for words or phrases. You just swipe through the videos and then tap to play; you don’t have to download any extra content. It’s all there. You don’t need an Internet connection to use this app.
ASL Word Immersion app review If you have kids, teaching them American Sign Language will be a lot easier with ASL Word Immersion. Having another language is always a bonus, and a large portion of the population is deaf and/or uses ASL on a daily basis. If you know ASL, and your children know ASL, you’ll be able to communicate with everyone in your life, hearing or not. The app is available in English only. It currently has 36 ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars. Customer feedback comments are very positive. Get it now, because it’s set at a low introductory price.
