The app features a high-def radar that covers the nation as well as a cool animated satellite view to see visible cloud cover. You can customize the forecast dashboard, set up weather alerts, view interactive maps, and supplement your weather knowledge with video, forecasts, and news from Belo’s stations. You can also share the forecast or share weather photos. With the forecast dashboard, you can set it so you can quickly see today’s and tomorrow’s quick-glance weather, hourly conditions, air quality, historical highs and lows, a seven-day forecast and almanac, and video forecasts from local meteorologists. You can set it so the info you want first is at the top. The user interface is well-designed and easy to use. The radar map gives you all the tools you need to have a clear view of local and nationwide weather: interactive hurricane trainer, temperature, earthquakes, humidity, satellite/clouds, lightning strikes, wind speed, watches and warnings, and precipitation.
