Diptic by Peak Systems is a fantastic photo editing app for your iOS device.
You can edit and combine different photos to make amazing collages unlike any others you may make with different apps. Once you’ve perfected your creations, you can share them using Posterous, Twitter, Facebok, Tumblr, or Flickr.
You get rounded borders, text captions, 165 customizable layouts, 14 filters, and fun background textures. If you want more layouts, you can buy more as an in-app purchase.
When you add text, you can move it around, and change the font, style, or size to your preference.
You can take photos from inside the app or use ones from your Camera Roll, Flickr, or Facebook. Choose one image or multiples, all at the same time. You can also choose for the app to select random photos to use.
The app has been optimized to use in landscape mode when you use your iPad. Shake to clear settings you don’t like.
Diptic was updated to Version 6.1 on January 21, 2013. The update brought back the inner frame slider as well as several other features. It also made some bug fixes.
This app is simply fantastic. I love that you can adjust the layout by sliding inner lines or individual joints. The ability to adjust border thickness is pretty great, too.
