Calculator Air app review

Calculator Air

Price: $0.99

Calculator Air by Vincent Lu is a fantastic calculator app for your iPad.

This app has tons of cool features, with a nice, clean interface. If you’re a fan of the old-school notebook calculator program, then you’ll love this app.

You can use it in either portrait or landscape mode: use portrait for your basic calculations and landscape mode when you need the scientific calculator. You can do angle calculations in radians and degrees, and trig operations and logarithms. The scientific calculator also offers exponent and power buttons.

The basic calculator offers functions like add, subtract, multiply, and divide, as well as memory and the ability to toggle between negative and positive values.

The history tab lets you view and edit your calculations. You can view your operations while you calculate, so you can fix your errors as you go.

If you want, you can share your results with a friend or other math student via email.

This app is perfect for students young and old, as well as people who need a calculator in their day-to-day lives.

Calculator Air was updated to Version 1.4 on February 27, 2013. The update fixed some bugs. The app does not have enough customer ratings for iTunes to display an average.

I really like the gray tones of the app; so many are overly-bright and are distracting. The app has a standard layout that is familiar and easy to use. Check it out.

For: iPad with iOS 5.0 or later
