lo-mob by aestesis is a fantastic photo-video app for your iOS device. It’s free for a limited time, so get it fast!

This app gives you the ability to experiment with the photos you take. You can either take a photo from within the app, or choose one from your library.

Once you’ve selected or taken your photo, lo-mob will process it and gives you a preview of its 39 filters, all at the same time in a scrolling list. You can fiddle with the filter that you eventually choose, as the app allows you to change the color filter, blurring, frame, and the vignette.

Some of the filters you get include AE-1 Through The Viewfinder, vintage 35mm slides, glass contact photography, square Through The Viewfinder simulation, old and modern emulsions, photocards, and classic format instant photography + reversed + deconstructed.

You can export in maximum resolution so it looks good on all devices, and share to Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, or Picasa. Of course you can also save to your Camera Roll and share to any social media platform you choose, or send as email.

lo-mob was updated to Version 1.8.21 on February 5, 2013. The update introduced smoother filters, some Emulsion filters variations, and less degrading color effects. The current version has 58 customer ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars. Feedback comments are all positive.
