PodCarHD by Mattia Confalonieri takes your iPad and transforms it into a media center for your car.

Just think of everything you've ever wanted in your car stereo and you'll probably find it here. This app is compatible with your radio and features hands-free Bluetooth capability.

Features of the app include a stopwatch, a clock, live news so you'll always be up to date, and over 1,000 WebRadio stations. These stations are broken down into categories so you can easily find what appeals to you. Go ahead and save your favorites so you can find them quickly.

There is a full-screen browser that gives you easy access to Twitter and Facebook. Your collection of movies and music is available to you with a tap. The app will give you the latest weather details, let you view your favorite RSS feeds, and even allows you to make a phone call through FaceTime or Skype.

There are plenty of ways to customize the app as well such as choosing your start-up logo, and a color for each component (console, buttons, selection, and watch).

It should be noted that some features require an Internet connection to use them.

PodCarHD was updated on Mar. 21, 2013 and currently has six customer ratings with an average rating of four out of five stars.

It’s hard to pick just a couple of features to point out that I really enjoyed as this app felt very well-rounded and complete to me. I really liked the real-time maps that showed me where I was as I was driving.
