WSMV WX by WSMV Digital Media LLC is a comprehensive weather app which utilizes NOWrad radar systems.

This app can use the GPS in your phone to provide weather forecasts covering your exact location, and you can save other locations as favorites for future viewing.

WSMV WX allows you to view hourly forecasts covering the next 10 days, including details such as Road Weather Index, earthquake information; and countless other features.

Weather alerts are color coded according to severity so you will always have advance warning of any severe weather conditions. Furthermore, this app has a built-in compass overlay for 3GS models.

All of this is delivered in beautiful high-resolution graphics, making the layout and navigation more of a pleasure to use. This is particularly important for making maps easier to read, and these are presented very clearly.

WSMV WX was updated to version 2.5 in early-April of 2013. The current version has a total of 23 customer ratings with an average rating of 2.5 out of five stars.

This app seems a little temperamental but it does display some invaluable information. WSMV WX is a decent weather app that will certainly improve further with future updates.
