Amazon Local by AMZN Mobile LLC brings you all kinds of offers saving you up to 75% off at online merchants, online chains, and even local businesses.
It's all about heavy discounts with this app. Each day you'll be given new deals to take advantage of at popular spas, restaurants, and events among other things. With this app you'll be able to quickly browse, view, and buy the deals you find right through the app. Customize the app so that you receive an email when a deal comes in that matches your preferences.
Some of the deals you may find include a special chef dinner for two, an Amazon MP3 player at a drastically reduced price, or a luxurious massage you can't afford to pass up.
As a convenience factor there is no need to print anything; you can redeem right from your mobile device.
Other features include being able to make a call to a local merchant to ask about a deal straight from the app, get directions and a map to the deal, and mark a deal as unused or used. You can receive push notifications on more than one location so you'll know about deals in a number of areas.
There are social features as well such as being able to share your deal with your contacts on Twitter, Facebook, SMS, and email.
Amazon Local was updated on Mar. 5, 2013 and currently has 324 customer ratings with an average rating of four and a half out of five stars.
Other than the deals there were a lot of great features here. I really liked being able to customize the push notifications so I’d know when there was a deal that might interest me, and the ability to follow deals in more than one city was great.
