CamScanner HD by IntSig Information Co.,Ltd is a productivity app for your iPad that makes scanning a breeze.

This app lets scan all kinds of items including documents, certificates, notes, receipts, whiteboards, and PPT. All you need to do is snap a picture of the item you want to scan. The app will automatically enhance the image to make sure the quality is clear and crisp.

After scanning items you can then convert it to a PDF so you can upload it to the cloud or share the file. You can export your PDF files to iTunes using WiFi. Use this app to fax your scans straight from within it to more than 20 countries.

When scanning you can actually view a preview before you go ahead with the image processing. The app allows you to scan multiple pages, which again you can view in preview mode first.

The app offers password protection, the ability to merge documents, tagging, searching within text, a timeline, and ink annotations that you can add right to the image you have scanned. This free version does have ads in it and doesn't have quite as many features as the paid version.
