User Experience

Couple makes chatting with that one special person much more intimate and personal by connecting only the two of you in a private chat. You can send and share intimate moments as well as share to-do lists and there is a special ThumbKiss™ that you can share. When you both touch the same spot on your device they will both vibrate simultaneously. The app is very smooth and easy to use and the interface is very simple to understand.

FaceTime can be initiated from within the app and streams beautiful video with excellent quality. You can also use the chat at the same time which lets you record important parts in the chat history as you are talking. The sound quality of the video chat is very good and you can use headphones to aid in the privacy of your conversation.

 

Features

There is a private timeline that allows you to build and share your chat history and to save your special moments much like a Facebook timeline for just the two of you. Messaging is done in real-time and allows you to chat back and forth without any latency. There is a function that allows you to send photos that will disappear after a set amount of time called Sending Secrets.

 

The locations feature brings up a map and will display the current location of your partner and allows you see exactly where each of you are on the map even if you are thousands of miles away. You can also draw pictures to each other in real time and even make games out of it like tic-tac-toe or play your own version of Draw Something. A built-in calendar allows you to create and share events and schedule dates with automatic notifications and reminders for the events as they are approaching. The ThumbKiss™ function is kind like your virtual kissing game. You both place your thumbs on the screen and when they line up the devices will vibrate.

Update info

Version 1.6.2 provided fixes for problems with online and minimized status. There was also a fix for the keyboard being dismissed when trying to type.

This app is a great idea and helps to keep you in close contact with your special someone. It’s very easy to use and has a really great interface layout. The streaming video with onscreen chat and map display are fabulous and the drawing feature can be quite a bit of fun if you are creative enough.
