This 50% off launch sale doesn't last long and you'll definitely want to take advantage while you can. This app gives you a way to find a good beer quickly and easily. It's ideal for your hometown and while traveling so you can always find a great pub to hang out in.

The app uses a pint meter that shows you how to get to the pub nearest you. As you approach the pub getting closer and closer the pint of beer will start to fill up. You’ll know you’re there when your pint is finally full. If you want to see the other pubs around just swipe to the right a map will appear. You can then tap on the pub you want to visit and start to follow the direction of the pint glass.

For added fun try double tapping on the glass and you'll get to see a live camera feed. What is really cool is that the pubs will be shown as an overlay in this mode.

Pub Compass was released on June 6, 2013 and currently doesn't have any customer reviews at the time of publishing.

I found this app to be most useful when traveling. If you’re in a city/town you’re unfamiliar with, this would be a great and fun way to find a local pub to relax in.
