The Story

Escape Fast! starts off with a cutscene where you and your fellow robber go into the bank, manage to steal the money, and get out safe, but that's when the plot thickens. Your friend runs off with your share of the money and leaves you to be caught by the cops.

So you do what any betrayed bank robber would do in that situation? You steal a cab and chase after him!

Start the game and you'll find some hilarious script from the betrayer, who scoffs at your naivety, informing you that he will be heading to "some exotic island with some chicks riding in a red Ferrari without you." The nerve! The game has more than 20 levels that you must cross to get to your partner-in-crime-turned-nemesis.

The best part about this game, I feel, is the controls. Users have the option to choose between a Virtual Pad, and a pair of buttons. The former comes highly recommended by the developers, and it's evident why. The virtual pad plays like a joystick or an old-school console game, allowing users to have a completely unique gaming experience. It takes some getting used to, but with a bit of practice, you'll feel like a five-year-old again.

The buttons, which only allow you to move left or right, are very difficult and cumbersome; no matter how long I practiced, I just couldn't get the hang of it.
