Math Is Fun!

Todo Math makes math fun for kids. Write the numbers and get stars for your effort. Find the right combination of blocks to create your math problem. Even add on trains to complete the pattern.

Best iphone and ipad apps

These are just a sampling of the fun activities to get your child learning,  as todo math game content incorporates six different levels of math tasks difficulty corresponding to preschool, kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade accordingly, that can be chosen on todo math for kids parents page, or decided automatically by applications build in feature to suggest the appropriate level after a brief evaluation of users abilities.

I really appreciated the variety of ways to get kids counting, to get kids practicing their addition, and more. The game is easy to navigate, and kids can do so independently while following the map through the activities.

I like this game because it’s stuff kids will do anyway. Play with blocks, make trains longer, and figure out writing by tracing. It’s not a physical learning as it is an app, but these are all natural things that kids will do.

Natural Learning

As I was mentioning above, Todo Math does all the things that kids would naturally do anyway. Patterning comes naturally to most with the train car ordering. The human eye prefers patterns than gobbledy-gook, and even seeks patterns where there are none obvious. As far as writing numbers goes, kids like to trace patterns too. Tracing the numbers is a natural way to learn.

Once you’ve traced, repeating the pattern of the numbers again comes naturally. I am so ridiculously excited about this app!

I also love how easy it is to navigate for kids. There is a simple map with one path. You complete the first level, then click the next available level. They unlock as you go, so your child cannot skip ahead. Of course, you can go back to practice the levels you’ve completed once you have mastered them, but you cannot skip ahead.

I appreciate this style of game because kids will often get frustrated and skip ahead. They are not ready for the next level, but they try anyway. If your child is really struggling, then you can go back and restart the game to keep practicing writing your numbers, for example. Writing numbers can take time to learn, and the app only requires you to write it once, so going back is definitely an asset.
