Golf is the sport of choice for many people but for some it's just a little too slow-paced. The Pukka Golf app is a brand-new release for your iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone that provides a fast-paced twist on the game. There’s no time to sit back and relax in this game because it is go, go, go from the moment you launch it. Here you aren't just going fast for the sake of going fast you're actually in a race against the clock.
There is no shortage of fun in the Pukka Golf app with more than 100 levels of challenges available. As mentioned you’re constantly in a race against the clock and you are able to take your next shot while the ball is actually still moving. There's no time to stop and wait to see where it falls, so you need to keep on going. The goal is to get the best time possible and you'll be able to compare your time score to that of your friends for added fun and challenge. The gameplay has a number of similarities to the game of golf but there are also all kinds of unique twists.
This brand-new release is free to download and play but to unlock the premium version of the app you'll need to make an in-app purchase of $1.99. The app doesn't yet have any updates or a customer rating. Early comments from players are nothing but complimentary.
Game controls are smooth and fluid
No Time to Stop
There’s no time to stop and think about your shot, think about the angles, and all the other elements you typically think about in the game of golf. In Pukka Golf you are racing to the end of the level before the clock runs out so you are literally taking shot after shot while the ball is still moving. You’ll be starting on Stage 1, which features a huge amount of levels. You won’t be able to advance until you complete the current level, so this can become pretty challenging if you find yourself getting stuck on one.
The game controls are simple and quick to pick up on: just touch and hold the ball on the screen in order to aim your shot and then release your finger in order to take the shot. Obviously as you advance through the levels they get harder and harder to complete, but that’s part of the fun.
Levels increase in difficulty making it pretty tough at times
