Introduction

My Story by HiDef Web Solutions is a fantastic iPad kids app that llows you to create and share ebooks.
This app allows your child to draw and add text, voice, and photos to create a storybook of his or her own.

After the book is completed, you can share it with friends and family to iBooks, email, or within this creative kids app. The creation will be saved forever.

My Story costs less than the average box of crayons and a notepad, and offers so much more. It promotes creativity and literacy and makes reading fun. This is a great tool for parents, teachers, counselors, and other childcare workers to use to develop these skills.

The app has a simple kid-friendly user interface where younger kids can just color or older ones can draw and color. You get several different pen/paint brush styles: wacky, pen, and paint brush. You can choose the size tool to make the lines your desired thickness. Choose from among 20 different colors.

For adding photos, you can take them right from within the app and use it as the background of the page. This will create an endless number of opportunities: an indoor family scene, an outdoor nature scene, a playground or park scene, and more.

The recording button makes it easy to start and stop recording to narrate the book and  you can start over whenever you want. The voice is kept with the book even if the book is shared to iBooks. As for writing, every page has a spot where your child can type in text.

The app allows you to make as many books as you want.

This is a great app to use to help teach kids to read. My daughter, who is four, absolutely loves drawing and spelling words so this app will be well-used.
