The Christmas List by Limbua.com is an app that lets you easily create and track your Christmas lists and manage your budget for everyone on your list.

You don’t have to worry about keeping track of your written list this year, with the risk of someone’s prying eyes finding out what you plan to buy. Now, with The Christmas List, you can create lists for everyone on your list, create a budget and track your spending, and do it all within a secure app.

Launch the app and add a person to start a list. Type in the person’s name and add an icon, or choose a person from your Address Book (which will add the name and photo assigned, if available). Next, add the gifts you plan to buy, if you have already purchased it, where you got it and how much it cost, and other notes associated.

Once you’ve added the gift(s), you can return to the general list and view and add people, see all the presents, the total projected costs, and how much you have actually spent on each person.

You can create more than one group, which will allow you to keep lists separate for friends, family, clients, and co-workers. If you have more than one group, you can have a look at an overview of all groups so you can track your overall spending too.

You can share your lists by email or by posting to Facebook.

The app was updated to Version 10.1 on November 24, 2012. The app is available in English and has a total of 1801 ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars. Feedback comments are all positive.

I like the overall idea of this app but wish it had a syncing feature. Another improvement I would make is to allow people to update someone else’s list if the gift gets purchased.
