If you plan on doing any holiday baking this year, then you’ll find this app indispensable. You’ll get more than 60 cookie recipes for free. Get it now, because for a limited time, all of the recipe packs are completely free.
You can browse by category, search by flavor, and set up a shopping list or even use the built-in timer. You can share recipes you love on Facebook or by email.

The app is totally slick, with great colors and amazing photos.

Cookies comes with four sections: Classic, Chocolate, Giftable, and Kids. There are two paid packs (free for right now) in addition: Sugar and Spice as well as Holiday. Some of the recipes you’ll get are Mocha-Chip Meringues, Chocolate-Dipped Macadamia Cookies, Peanut Butter Surprises, Mexican Wedding Cakes, Flourless Peanut-Butter Chocolate Chip, Spice Stars, Lemon-Glazed Candied Ginger Cookies, Rose Water Cream Sandwiches, and Banana Whoopie Pies.

At the bottom of the screen you’ll see two tabs: Menu and Timer. The Menu tab holds the Search function as well as Favorites, Tools, Videos, Shopping List, Tips, Info, and +M.

The app was released at the beginning of October, 2012 and is available in English only. It has 20 customer ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars. If there was an option to turn off the music that plays upon launch it would probably get five stars.

This is really just a completely fabulous app. If you’re a baker, you simply have to download it today. I’ve already used it to make one batch of Mocha Madeleines and they turned out perfectly.
