NORAD Tracks Santa is the official app for you to track Santa with NORAD on your iOS device.

You and your kids can count down the days until Christmas Eve, then you can follow Santa’s progress all day long as Santa and his magical flying reindeer make their way across the globe.

While you wait for bed time, you and your kids can play Elf Toss/Thin Ice. You’ll learn about NORAD and will help Santa’s elves deliver all the presents in these games.

When you launch the app, you’ll see “Countdown to Track Santa” in Days, Hours, Minutes, and Seconds. You also have a button to Track Santa and one to Play Games. Along the bottom, a menu with About, NORAD, Contact, and Settings allow you to perform more functions.

In the meantime, you can also watch videos from last year’s NORAD Tracks Santa when you click on the Track Santa button and then choose Watch Videos. You’ll be taken to YouTube to watch a trailer for this year’s flight as well several different videos featuring Santa’s flight in different areas of the world last year.

Obviously, this app is great for people with young kids.

NORAD Tracks Santa was updated to Version 1.0.6 on December 1, 2012. The update made the app iOS 6-compatible and updated some map/tracking features. The app is available in English only. The app has a total of 278 customer ratings. This version has 43 ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars. Feedback comments are positive.
