Buddy Bird ToDo by Mathews Thomas is an organizer that reads you your to-do list.

This is the very first and the only (to date) app that literally tells you the items on your to-do list. Like a personal assistant, this app will keep you up-to-date on all of the tasks on your list that you need to address. Even when you don’t have an Internet connection, the app will still work.

The app reads your tasks in a clear female voice. It will help you organize, set tasks, set recurring appointments, set alarms or voice notifications, filter and sort tasks, star important tasks, and customize the app as you like. It’s super easy to add tasks: just tap twice.

There are no push notifications and no data use, so the app gives you about 20% more battery life.
You can sync with iCloud or Toodledo.com. The developer also indicates that more syncing options are upcoming, along with the option to customize the voice.

You have the option to have badge notifications that will tell you how many tasks you have that are due or overdue today.

To use this app, you don’t need to sign up for any accounts, pay any subscription fees, or sign up for anything unnecessary.Buddy Bird ToDo app review

The app was released at the end of November 2012 and is optimized for iPhone 5. It has 56 customer ratings with an average of 4.5 out of five stars. Feedback comments are good.

Personally, I like the idea of the app, the appearance is nice, but the interface needs a bit of work. The icon to click to have the task read is pretty small and could be made bigger. I don’t really have any complaints other than that, and obviously as this is a first version there will probably be improvements and changes made soon. All in all, this is a good app and one that will be helpful to those people who use to-do lists a lot.
